Hi this tool looks brilliant however when I go to edit a test case the application hangs.

I am presented with the loading animation.

Any suggestions?

It looks like it's bad data, but it would be nice to catch these cases.

In my case 'sharedStepCore.OwnerTeamFoundationId' is sometimes returning an generic guid of '00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000' which has a null OwnerName associated with it.
public SharedStep(ISharedStep sharedStepCore)
        {
            this.ISharedStep = sharedStepCore;
            List<TestStep> allTestSteps = TestStepManager.GetAllTestStepsInSharedStep(sharedStepCore);
            this.StepsToolTip = TestStepManager.GenerateTestStepsText(allTestSteps);
            this.Title = sharedStepCore.Title;
            this.Area = sharedStepCore.Area;
            this.Priority = (Priority)sharedStepCore.Priority;
            this.TeamFoundationIdentityName = new TeamFoundationIdentityName(sharedStepCore.OwnerTeamFoundationId, sharedStepCore.OwnerName);
            this.OwnerDisplayName = sharedStepCore.OwnerName;
            this.TeamFoundationId = sharedStepCore.OwnerTeamFoundationId;
            this.DateCreated = sharedStepCore.DateCreated;
            this.DateModified = sharedStepCore.DateModified;
            base.isInitialized = true;
            this.Id = sharedStepCore.Id;
            this.CreatedBy = sharedStepCore.WorkItem.CreatedBy;
        }

Managed to fix the data condition by searching on TFS for shared steps which had unassigned users, this resolved the issue.

If anyone has any thought's on changing the code please let me know.

Hi,

Thank you for posting. If you have a working code, if you share it, I will add it to the main branch!
